I was buying two sets of manifolds anyway. As for calling them, if I was
going to do that why wouldn't I just look at the graph that AMS
advertises. Let's say you own a shop that can do flowtesting. Joe, an unethical
businessman, owns a company that makes manifolds and wants you to
independently flow test his manifolds versus his competitors. You flow
them and find that Joe's manifold was not quite as good as the other
one. Are you going to go to Joe and say that? Of course not! You want
repeat business, so you give Joe's manifolds an advantage so that he
gets the numbers he wants. Joe is thrilled and will bring future products
to you for testing. I am not saying that is what happened, but I am saying that stuff like
that DOES happen. I didn't trust the numbers, so I did it for myself. If
you think it's silly, just ignore it.
